The National Pensioners Convention , Wessex Region, is a regional body of the National Pensioners
Convention, representing Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, and the Isle of Wight.
The National Pensioners Convention acts as an umbrella organisation for other pensioner
organisations, who are affiliated to it, to create a powerful organisation that can speak to the
Government with one voice on the most important pensioner issues of the day.
Although based on the collective views of its affiliated organisations, it also welcomes
membership and the participation of individual members who are not members of an organisation.
It does not seek to address local issues as do local pensioner forums, but aims to tackle the main
issues affecting pensioners nationally as outlined in its Pensioners Manifesto. (see next page).
